It's all about the gear..

I just got back from, for me, a long 2,100 mile ride from FL to WV and back over the past week. One solid day of rain, for more than 300 miles and the only thing that got wet were my hands. Simple $40 rain suit from Wally World and full face helmet kept me dry. BMW boots stayed dry and were comfortable all week. LDC underwear and a pair from Wally World prevented "monkey butt." The LCD underwear was noticeably better than the ones from Wally World.

Only bike problem was a tail light that seems to be wire and not bulb related. Gona work on that tomorrow after the bike is serviced and washed.

Interesting thing about riding from Florida to West Virginia, with tires that have about 10,000 miles is that up in WV the tires were like new tires. My sides had not touched the pavement in Florida..
