One piece rain suit?

All - I know it's the wrong time of year to be asking this question, but ...

Anyone have any feedback on a reasonably priced one-piece rainsuit to use during the summer months? I wear full armored jacket and trousers, and want a one-piece rainsuit that fits over the top to carry with me when I tour this summer. I have waterproof cold-weather gear but I don't wear it in the summer (too hot in central California, we LIKE mesh).

FirstGear? Darien? How about sizing - I was thinking probably one size up from my usual. Would like to keep it under a couple hundred dollars or so (so, as nice as it would be, a full Aerostich would probably not work), and be fairly easy to pack.

FWIW, 6' 0", 205 lbs, 32" inseam.

Thanks in advance.

Re: One piece rain suit?

Wrong time of year?? Depends on where you live....

Don't know about the one piece rain suit question. I have a BMW Comfort Shell jacket and pants that are completely waterproof and I wear year around.

Talking Re: One piece rain suit?

I just bought a one piece BMW rainsuit to go over my armoured riding jacket and armoured pants. I wear goretex riding boots and can slip the suit on over the boots, pants and jacket. I live in Seattle and purchased them second hand at Ride West BMW swap meet. I paid $50 dollars for them and they are perfect. If your local BMW dealer doesnt have periodic swap meets then you should talk them into it.

To each his own, I know you'll stay dryer in a one piece
but they're such a pain in the ass or actually testicles to wear that I can't stand them,
I guess it all depends on how you're built,
I'm definitely a two piece rain suit type of guy,
with a one piece my voice goes "high pitched" every time I reach for something.
