You're Gonna Wear What?

I am going to be working as a consultant for a couple of months with a company in California where everyone still wears a coat and tie to work. What is the best way to deal with the demands of commuting in dress clothes? I've been thinking maybe an Aerostitch Roadcrafter one piece to slip over the dress pants and shirt and carry the suit coat in the top case. Any other ideas?

Precisely what I've done for the last decade or so. Most folks here don't know I ride, not because I hide it (I have bike models/pics in my office), but because I leave my gear in the bike luggage so they never see it.

FWIW, for shoes I always ride in my boots. At the office I either put on my dress shoes in the garage (boots into a saddlebag), or if I have a spare pair of dress shoes in the office, I wear the boots (with the suit) up the elevator and change shoes before I head down the hall for the morning cup of decaf.

Re: You're Gonna Wear What?

Working in a very casual environment (some folks wear sandals and shorts) I wear jeans when riding in to work and change into shoes in the parking garage, leaving my boots in one of the side cases of the LT. I also leave my jacket, helmet and gloves in the top case.
