I would like to try some on too. But I would never buy them.

I wonder if they make bras or panties in XXL?

Just sayin'.....

Re: BMW underwear

I use the BMW underwear.
no seams under my butt and they move moisture away from my body faster than any other I've tried.
Most poly underwear starts to stink after 1/2 a day as many support bacteria
The BMW underwear does not.
Cost about the same as many major brands of "specialized" underwear
I also use the silver function shirts...........same deal, dry and no odor.

Re: BMW underwear

I forgot about the Under Armour option. I've used those also. No seams under your butt and they make them in either summer or winter weights. I haven't had an odor problem with them on multiple hour/day rides either. Nice thing is that you can wash them in a hotel sink at night, hang them up to dry and they are read for the next day's riding.

Hey, if you were smart you would agree with me more often!

And the Under Armour, we have the compression tops and they work great as well. Wash the LD Shorts and the UA in the sink, or shower, and they are clean and dry for another day of LD riding!

Steve, maybe I am rubbing off on you ......or maybe just rubbing you the wrong way

My Honda buddies already think I spent to much upgrading to a BMW. If I tell them special underware are require to stay comfy, I might be get kicked out of the riding group.

Re: BMW underwear

Talk about brand loyalty. When you start wearing underwear with their logo on it... I'm sure there's some "science" behind it and it's been tested in a wind-tunnel and all that. Who woulda thunk that BMW made underwear. First I've heard of it. Just funnin'. Enjoy your BMW/ Honda/ Isuzu (put brand name here) underwear.

Re: BMW underwear

I bought summer shorts and a tee shirt at CCR in Midway. The stuff works.

But the BMW trademark on it is at least half of the price. Does anyone know where you can buy this kind of design and material without the expensive label?

Re: BMW underwear

Go to Kmart or Wally world and buy Haynes boxer briefs. No seams, soft cotton, very comfortable. About $2.50 each in pack of 4.

And they smell after a day or two, reminding you to wash or throw them away. I don't believe that BMW has engineered underwear that doesn't facilitate the growth of bacteria. Come on, it's there- you just can't smell it, which means you're more likely to sit in and on it longer than you might should be doing.

Well, first time riding a BMW most folks shit their pants, and then they'll shit 'em again when they have it serviced.

LOL.

I guess servicing the pants would be costly too. Who would want to handle the pants for standard fare.

Re: BMW underwear

I also use BMW phase change long underwear for below 60F.
Although it says for "between 50f-70F, I find it helps all the way down to 34F....
