Maybe the perfect helmet - Nolan N43

Could it be... a helmet that allows lots of ventilation, doesn't make you feel like you're inside a tunnel, has (some) chin protection, unobstructed view and is relatively light to boot?

And only $269.00.

I've been waiting for a lonnnng time to replace my Arai and just ordered one in solid silver.

Re: Maybe the perfect helmet - Nolan N43

My last 3 helmets have been Nolans. I loved the functionality of all of them, but the last one really fell apart quickly (read: Build-quality sucked!). Next Spring I'll be buying all new gear to go with my new bike (can't live another year without a bike!), and I really like the looks of this hat. And the review is positive as well. Thanks for posting Ron.

Re: Maybe the perfect helmet - Nolan N43

I'll follow up with a short review after a couple of hundred miles.

Any idea what you're going to get Joe? I just took my first 100 mile trip today on this - and it was more than enough mileage... I'm still vibrating, but it was fun! ...and after two months working on it she ran like a clock. Even fired up hot at 8500 feet.

I did manage to run out of gas on the way back home. I now know what position the petcocks (TWO!) are for "on" vs. "reserve".

Luckily I was only about ten miles from home and Amy came to the rescue after waiting only about 45 minutes under a tree.

Cool Re: Maybe the perfect helmet - Nolan N43

Ron,
You need to go for a ride so you can give us your review of the helmet. Since I have had my problems with the Scorpion EXO900 I am in the market for a "good" helmet(modular, internal tinted shield, decent appearance).

How do you think this helmet will be in the cold of the winter?
