Washing Insturctions

I have a BMW textile riding jacket and pants. They are looking a little grubby, so it is time for a cleaning. I can't find the washing instructions, so I thought I would ask the question here. Are they machine washable and if so, anything special that I have to do besides remove the armour?

Re: Washing Insturctions

About two weeks ago I emailed Firstgear and asked them how to clean and waterproof my clothing. They told me about the Nikwax. Here are two links, one for the cleaner and one for the waterproofing.

Re: Washing Insturctions

I use the Nikwax stuff too. Then once my garments are dry (no tumble dryer either....hanging only), I spray 'em with the Nikwax sealer to re-waterproof everthing. Good stuff. Admittedly, it's the Nikwax stuff doesn't have any scent....so your garments won't smell "Spring-time" fresh.

I wish I could think of clever things to say in my signature.
