Roadcrafter suits

I have a 44 long stich and when I sit it gathers up in the crotch forming a pocket that catches water when it rains and it doesn’t take long before the water runs through the zippers, producing very wet ,uncomfortable, crotch. Any thoughts.

Re: Roadcrafter suits

I hear that some RC owners put a disposable diaper wrong side out inside the crotch. A little weird perhaps but better than a rain soaked crotch.

For the price of those things, they should work perfectly. Give them a call and ask them.

Re: Roadcrafter suits

As I understand it, that's one of the commone gripes about the Roadcrafter. Any one-piece suit might have that problem, just because of the way the suit would bunch up while seated.

I have the Aerostich Darien (separate jacket and pants) and because of the separation of the two pieces this problem doesn't happen.

Maybe you could apply extra waterproofing (spray can) to the zipper in the crotch area.
