best bag linners

Just got off of an RT and on an LT. I had BMW bag liners for the RT and the LT BMW liners are high dollar. Any good options decides Kathy Bags

And what's wrong with Kathy's bags. I find them to be well constructed and very durable. JM2CW

Re: best bag linners

I've had a set of RKA bags for both my LT's. Very good quality, made here in California to order. The owner of the company, Richard, is a BMW rider and knows his stuff well. Great fit and the price is reasonable.

+1 on RKA. I use their bags in the trunk, in the sides, on the rack, and on the tank.

Another vote for RKA. 100K on mine.

Good bags and liners, and they support BMWLT.com and CCR.

Re: best bag linners

My bike came with two Kathy's bags, a sidecase liner and topcase bag. I use them often. They are well made but a little shapeless.

Later I bought a Bestem (Cruiser Backrest company) sidecase liner on eBay. It was inexpensive but I wasn't planning on using it every week. It's functional but the materials don't seem as durable as the others. You get what you pay for.

Aside from the BMW bags, the brands I am aware of are RKA, DeSantis Beemer Bags, and Cee Bailey's. They seem pretty similar. I got a first hand look at the Cee Bailey's bags at CCR a couple years ago and thought they looked really good.

Re: best bag linners

I have a set of RKA liners that I had on the LT when I traded it for the RT. See my ad in the classifieds. Side liners and trunk liner.
