Anyone familiar with Gerbing battery-powered "Lite" Heated Vest?

Hi,

does anyone here know the AC voltage rating of charger used by Gerbing's "Lite" Heated Vest (battery-powered)?

I am thinking about getting it for an overseas trip - however, I may reconsider if the charger requires an additional transformer to step down from 220V to 120V.

If you have that vest, could you look up the nameplate on the charger?

Also, I'd be interested in your opinion on:

* effectiveness
* operating time
* reliability

Thanks in advance!

No, but if you contact Gerbing's directly, I'm sure they can answer your question.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Well, one would hope so, but I have sent a few messages, trying to get their attention for the past week - to no avail. They do not seem to be too interested. Oh, well.

However, Tony of CycleNutz , a vendor on this board, was kind enough to look up the info for me.

For those who care, the charger specs are:
Input: AC100-240V 50/60Hz
Output: DC 8.4V 1.2A
