Nolan 102 - Removing the visor help

It's time to replace my scratched visor and sun shield and wondered if anyone had any tips. I've read the instructions and as usual (to me) they seem quite confusing. Seems that someone who has done it can explain it better. I hate to force anything plastic (like the covers on the windshield arms) but if that is the way, I will proceed.

Re: Nolan 102 - Removing the visor help

With both visors down, push the VPS slide with 3 notches forward. The top visor comes off. A little more tricky with the clear visor. Just fiddle with it until you get it off. Even more of an issue putting it back on.

I've done it about 5 times now, nothing broke forcing the plastic.

I use the all black visor, no top for summer. That does not use the same covers.

The dealer had no idea, so I had to have someone from Nolan talk me through the removal and install the first time myself.

The secrete is the position the visor is in, while you are installing or removing it.

I also have 2-3 layers of electrical tape across the top of the dark shields, keeps the sun completely out. Works great! Also use the Cardo Team COM system, they have so far worked out well for us.
