Riding Gear for Children?

My 11 year old granddaughter loves to ride pillion on the beemer. I was able to find an XS full face helmet for her that fits nicely but I would also like to find a riding jacket that fits her. She is in the last of the children's sizes....14/16. All I have been able to find is the Harley Classic Leather Jackets...has anyone located a source for riding gear for pre teens and teens?
Thanks and Ride Safe,

I suggest trying searching on the web. one site I found for gear is Motorcycle closeouts. prices can be great, also they have various sizes. not everything is always available though, so you may have to spend some time researching. also look in moto- cross sites, as they cater to children more than street bikes.

Sorry I could not be more specific, hope this helps!

Found some nice gear on E-Bay for my 12 & 14 year old daughters in a small womans size. Feel much better about their protection now. Besides they match dad's gear....

Adjustable sizes

Howdy, Ron! Children's sizes.. tough to find. Some "motocross" but little in the "street" side.

What I did for my sons was to buy the one closest to their size then get them to wear sweater underneath to take up the slack.

Of course the "length" of arms and legs remained a difficulty, but the clothes seemed to "bunch up" enough to fit.

The cool part is they "grew" into the clothes and they got a couple of riding seasons out of them...as well as wearing them to school... ;=)

Here are a couple of "web" hits..

http://www.jaminleather.net/products.asp?dept=68 (has "pretty in pink" for young ladies)

http://www.splathat.com/helmets/youth/youth.shtml (says children's page is on the way)

(has great pic of full leather outfits for kids.)
