compact RT cover

I interested in finding a compact cover for my RT. I have Tourmaster cover that is nice but quite large. Any suggestions?

Re: compact RT cover

AeroStich has a very compact one on their site. A little spendy but I've had good service with mine.

Re: compact RT cover

I have a new shady half cover for trips and use a dowco weatherall plus (full cover) at home; don't have a garage. Haven't tried my half cover yet so can't comment on it, but saw one last year on an RT while on a trip in Arkansas. Really liked how it looked and attached to the bike. To check out the shady cover just google shady motorcycle cover.

Re: compact RT cover

Aerostich has a light full cover, rolls up into a small ball (6" diameter). I have used it for 7 years on trips and it has been great.

Re: compact RT cover

The Nelson-Rigg half cover fits my RT great. It has weathered a few gully washers and kept my bike perfectly dry. Decent price too.

I use an E-Z Traveler half size when I tour on my RT. Works well and compact. They do full size as well. E-Z Touring Motorcycle Covers

Re: compact RT cover

I have a Geza. Not cheap but well made and very packable. They are also rated for towing on an open trailer which is the other reason I have one. Sometimes with the wife you gotta take the bike with you pulled behind the cage.

I too have been interested in a cover that packs small since I use it every day I commute to the office on the bike. Been through two Nelson Rigg covers (1/2 and full) but they were inferior and couldn't hold up to daily sun exposure. I believe each only lasted one year.

I recently bought the EZ-Touring Wanderer full cover, packs small considering. They say the size of a loaf of bread; I can actually get it down a bit smaller. I couldn't envision getting anything smaller because I want to protect as much of the bike as possible to reduce the impacts of prolonged sun exposure.

Pick up one of the EZ-Touring covers, you will not be disappointed.

Re: compact RT cover

I use a BMW half cover I purchased from Sierra I think. It works well and I've used the heck out of it for 4 years. Pack inside itself so it stores easy on the bike for road trips.

Re: compact RT cover

Also looking for a compact cover. On my last bike I had a cover that fit in a bag the size of a coke can. It went to the buyer of the bike and now I can't remember who made it so that I can order another one. It was great.
