Question System 4 Helmet Accessories

I have a System 4 BMW Helmet and love it. For summer use I could use a little more air circulation.I see that in Europe BMW offer a kit to convert the helmet to what they call a "jet type". You remove the chin bar and face shield and then the kit consistes of side plates that attach at...um...the sides. There is also a helmet visor available. My issue is I need the BMW part numbers for these accessories so I can order them.

Anyone who has done this, knows the numbers, or where I can get them, or a dealer that might work with me. I emailed Wolf BMW (Canada) but they couldn't help.

After searching the web I came up with these part numbers on a Dutch site:

72 60 2 341 405 SYSTEEMHELM 4 JETHELMSET ZONNEKLEP
73 60 7 665 381 SYSTEEMHELM 4 + EVO JETHELM WANGSTUKKEN

Thanks, Larry

Since that helmet CANNOT be purchased on this side of the pond, I suspect you're going to have to work with one of our European members to get the pieces you need.

System 4 Accesories

I have just spoken to my local dealer Motorrad Central (+441417623443)
the 2 side parts are 72607 665381 and are 20GBP for the pair. the peak/shield is 72607665380 and is 15GBP. They do not have any in stock but they are available on 7 day order. I would be happy to help in any way I can.

Can't help you on the system 4, I've got a system 5, and, as well as the side pieces, you also need a new visor (BM do not tell you that when you get the side cheeks). Still, the system 5 is a good helmet - very quiet, light, and ( ), you can easily have a smoke whilst riding
