Gear shopping in Dallas

Greetings all

This is my first post. Joined the group 20 minutes ago.
Used to ride in the previous millenium. Had a 96 Kawa VN800 for a few years. Haven't owned a bike since. I'm in the process of buying a 2005 K1200LT. Will need to do some gear shopping. All I have right now is a pair of riding gloves.
I don't live in the US. However I'll be in Dallas for a coupla days soon. Is there a one stop shop that anybody can recommend?

Thanks in advance.

1996 Kawasaki VN800 (sold)
2005 K1200LT (lost its way)
2015 K1600GLT-E (on its way)
In short….bikeless (for now)

Re: Gear shopping in Dallas

Depends on what you are looking for. If you want some of the inexpensive basic brands find your nearest Cycle Gear which they have 3 of, Plano, Bedford and Fort Worth. If you are looking for BMW brands try European Cycle Sports in Plano or BMW Motorcycles of Fort Worth. There is also Moto Liberty in the Farmers Branch area which is not a chain like Cycle Gear and not a motorcycle dealer like the brand folks but is a good place to go for a good selection and prices. I like to support the independent shop. Good luck and welcome to Dallas

Another +1 for Moto Liberty -- they offer a larger selection of brands and sizes than most dealers I've found.

Re: Gear shopping in Dallas

Thanks for the info guys. I'll definitely check out Moto Liberty. They are pretty close to where I'll be. Can't wait to have the LT in my garage.
