Re: Tomorrow

LT ran flawlessly ... and strong !!!

Forgot rain suit but mostly kept a weather eye out and avoided most of the storms that threatened So Ut. Went through a lightning storm and small deluge without serious issues, dried out in a windy part on the other side of rain. Had a good visit w sis.
Enjoyed Trail Ridge Road and made good time westward on the way back to CA.

Allowed two aggressive cagers to get speeding tickets for me in UT (they musta thought they were winning (ha).

Went over 111,111 somewhere before Wells NV. So, kinda surprised at good mi moto performed ... though have decided to replace shocks (Ohlins) and wind shield.

Follow-up and service report

Íhlins on at 112,530; stock shocks were fully depreciated. Duh !!!

Plus a new to me windscreen (can see again).

Took a spritely ride up 17 to Summit and down Old San Jose Rd.

Moto running great & strong plus much more manageable at certain speeds! Wink, wink.

Prolly shoulda put Íhlins on at 35K not 112.5K, eh?

Update & Service

Sorry no pix nor video ... have been considering GoPro ... and now that I've decided to update my big girl and Not get an S ... that seems like a good way to share the fun. Gotta admit I got way too used to riding Tense & Clenched. New shocks feel way more relaxed even when at 7 or 8 Tenths. Still no speeding tix ... though have gotten a double take or two from CHP.

Got pulled over in Montana one time doing almost 90. Out of no where a highway patrol officer materializes out of thin air. Crap. I pull over and he walks up, before I can even apologize for speeding, and says your headlight is out. Didn't even give me a citation, just some written warning that I had to mail back when the bulb was replaced.
