Great time in NC and ten

I had a great ride from Brevard NC to harrison? Ten ( NW of Knoxville Ten)

I took route 64 to 129--nice leasurley ride with nice sweepers and tons of twisties! I got on the dragon in Robinsville NC headed towards The Devils Triangle.

I never imagined how FANTASTIC the dragon is!!! Just as I was getting used to dragging my pegs on both side of the LT, the dragon was over.

The ride to The Comfort Inn was also nice and relaxed.

The next day I headed towards The Devils Triangle, also a nice easy ride on a country back road. The first part of the triangle made me wonder what the big deal was? Once I hit the old Prision and started up that windy road I understood why it woud be a grate ride--tons of switchbacks where the speed limit was 15 mph, with good reason.

Riding the Devils Triangle was a great way to spend part of the morning and afternoon!

There are sections with gravel and dirt on the road, and most of the coal hauling trucks stayed in their lane.

There must be sompin in the air or local water on the Triangle? Or maybe the Devil has great influence in those mountains? The people there must be extremly wicked or wanton or pagans? as they needed a Baptist Church every 10 miles or so.

So few people needing so many close by churches?! :-)

Riding back to harrison Ten I stopped by the place the fellow at the desk of the Comfort Inn said had the BEST pulled pork in the area, Express Pizza?

As promised the hole in the wall place had a big smoker out front and the pulled pork was EXCELLENT!!

Picks to follow when I get back home in 5 or 6 days.

Best from Birmingham Ala

Could it be that those are Moonshine stills disguised as Baptist Churches?

If you have any problems near Tyler Texas on your way through PM me?
