Killarney, Ireland - Pictures

Hi Guy`s,
Just completed an 800 mile round trip down to Killarney, County Kerry (Ireland).
The HD Bike Fest was on, with about 7000 bikes attending.
A couple of us took off for a run around the amazing roads and scenery and I thought I would share a couple of pictures.
Hope they download ? here goes.

Beautiful stuff! Was over there a year ago (stuck, thanks to Iceland's Mt. something-or-other) and enjoyed it no end! Did some riding in the north 10 years ago with a bunch of the HD guys from Provincewide in Ballymena - great craic, so it was!

Are the 2nd & 3rd pics Connor pass (with the hike up to the wee lake)?
Can you get a pic of your LT around the corner from your place between the giant stones at the entrance to the tombs at Newgrange?

Well thanks a lot for those pictures. Now it seems that I'll HAVE to plan a trip there. Can a guy rent bikes there?

Spot on Lurch - Connor Pass it was.
Why the picture between the stones at Newgrange?. I have not being up there in a while, but will put it on my list of rides during the summer and post picture for you, that if "they" will let me in.

No reason in particular - just thought it would be a cool pic to have it parked between two of the megalithic kerbstones. I'm sure you'd have to do it "after hours" though!

Probably easier than one of the LT balanced on the Giant's Causeway or the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge!

Lovely place and great pictures, thanks for sharing. My ex wife is from Terenure in Dublin and when I was married I used to go Ireland at least twice a year and did that for more than 10 years. Ireland is a very beautiful country, one of my favorite. I did the Ring of Kerry several times.

Thanks,

I grew up on the West coast of Ireland. Great pics. I don't miss the rocks, the wind and the rain though.
