2018Western States Walkabout

I always know when a big ride is coming up, cant sleep and wake up at 4:30am. Ready to launch tomorrow for the longest trip ever taken, 23 days. That should finish breaking in the new RT. See ya on the road!

Re: 2018Western States Walkabout

I know exactly what you mean about not sleeping and getting up early, although 0430 is normal for me (but I'm not normal). I'll have the same problem in about 15 days; leaving for a IBA SS1000 on 7/07 around 0400. This will be my first SS1000 so looking forward to it but would be nice if the temperatures to drop just a touch and not be in the upper 90's.

Have a great trip!

So, how was your trip... The parts of your route that I have traveled are beautiful. I'm hoping for a 2-up tour out Hwy 50 and into Utah for a visit to the National Parks this spring. But that's only 9-10 days including site-seeing. Please...post a ride report...
