Astoria trip photos

First night in Nordegg, I asked for power to charge scala, got stuck in the RV section.
Between the trees was the only spot without rocks

Keep them coming. One of those pictures at camp looks like the tree is growing out your tent.

Re: Astoria trip photos

Emerald Lake British Columbia
Ice cream break

Some other things we saw on the journey.
About a dozen bald headed eagles in a freshly cut straw field eating mice early morning on Whidbey Island

A breast feeding squirrel in Nordegg, all the hair was gone from her belly and teats were swollen, youngsters were crying in the background.

A mother loon swimming with her young, three of the young ran across the water and jumped on her back for a ride.

A dead ground squirrel in the road with her four youngsters running around wondering why mom was sleeping on the road.

In the last hour we saw a fox run across the road.

A deer cooling itself in the Yakima river.

A bear on the road and numerous deer. i always honk my foghorn and chase them away.

Wife saw some elk and we saw some Mtn Goats.

We also saw a fawn suckling on a doe.

Thats about it.

Re: Astoria trip photos

Sounds like a really great trip. Loved the pictures of the wood work in the first part of the photos.
