A tale of caution

If you decide to take the road south from Randall Washington around the east side of mount saint Helens, BEWARE it is full of doody doodles.
It is 62 miles or almost two hours of riding.
It is tempting to let it hang out but these almost potholes are often in curves and are difficult to see in the shadows. You are out there alone there is nothing there.
I hit a small one at maybe 15 mpg and my wife landed on the front portion of her seat. I may as well have kicked her in the nuts. She said I wasn't getting any, not because she was mad but because she was out of commission.
The north half of the road is the worst.
It is a nice ride, just be forewarned that the pavement conditions are not ideal.

Re: A tale of caution

Eric, Thanks for the info. Those roads have been like that for years! some of those roads are only open for 3 months some years due to snow. Lots of great twisties though.
