OK I'm back pt. II

Last year West . . . this time East
Picked up 11 new states during two week trip. Impressive and quite different. It was all camping but for 2 nights. It was basically 2 and 4 lane splashed with Interstate mainly in NY, NJ and parts of MD. Going it was route 6 all the way to PA. Liked route 9 in VT, 2 to NH, Bangor and 1 to 3 Acadia NP. Did Cadillac Mt. and the loop.
Then the coast was my best friend all the way on 1 to entering Mass. Did parts of 95 into RI and back on 1 in CT. I was fascinated by many of the bridges I saw an actually some I went over. The Bay bridge from DE to MD is stuff to write home about.
The weather got nasty the last 4 days of my trip. One of the reasons I used I-95 so the trucks could sweep the water off the pavement. Yep I went through the Holland tunnel. Got to the foot of Mt. Washington NH but did not attempt fog and weather conditions. Camping was tranquil and especially along the coast where I could hear the roar of the waves at night. I traded in two wheels for two legs as I roamed the parks, camp grounds and trips to the coast.
Two words Maine . . . Lobster. Light houses galore. Pictures to follow.

Sorry did not hit you up this time.
Been in your state a couple times on the BRP for the fall colors. This one allowed me to pick up 11 new ones. Now my tally is 40 of the lower 48. I still have the big 4 in the southeast corner plus LA, NM, NV, and ND. By the I will figure out AK and HI.

Lost an hour of putting together my trip composition with pictures. When time to submit the site said I was not logged in so I lost all that work. Now I am going back to the old way adding attachments.

Re: OK I'm back pt. II

Excellent pictures and a nice write up. The Northeast is still on my to do list.

How much did you plan in advance vs winging it?

Any bad camp sites to avoid?

Everytime I try getting into detail or time consuming I lose the ability to submit the thread. So I will try a short answer for now. Planned over the winter months and basically ran pretty close to the script. Hope Adim does not log me out.
