Help and advice needed

Greetings,

My good friend Jay passed away last September after finally succumbing to cancer. His wife has asked me to sell his motorcycles for her.

Jay had three BMW's and I would like some assistance on how to find a value and perhaps where to advertise the other two.

They are:

1965 R27
It appears to be in original unrestored condition complete with side and top cases. It also has two seats; a single and a one piece two up seat. I am not certain of its mechanical condition. I know it needs a throttle cable. It's being checked out as I type this.

1966 R60 with a Jawa Velorex side car. Again, this appears to be in original condition. This bike runs as I rode it, (drove?) last year.

The third bike is a 1999 R1200C with only 5k on the clock. Very minty.

Jay was a pilot and the care he gave to his airplanes was the same care he showed his motorcycles.

Any help or advice you have is very much appreciated. I will post pictures as soon as it quits snowing.

Re: Help and advice needed

I am well versed on these two bikes, 1965 R27,1966 R60 with a Jawa Velorex side car. If you were to supply detailed pictures and more details ie prior maintenance interval of bikes. Do both bikes have title and prior owner history ,this helps with determining the value.

The C might get around $6000 depending on accessories.

The site dedicated to the C and a good spot to advertise is;
