Getting a vintage pre 1970 Boxer What?

From 1969 to 1970ish. What would be the best model? I am thinking a R75 or R60. What's the con's and pro's?

You're right at the transition year to the /5 models, which started in 1970.

You must be referring to them, since there was not a "75" version of earlier models.

I'd avoid what's called the "short wheelbase" version of /5, which are 1970-1972 and go instead for a 1973. All the look, but much better handling. 750 is the way to go, as the smaller versions are a little more troublesome with carbs.

Nice looking example from the small pictures. Said 650 miles from a wrecker, if it is true when was the last time it was used? You looking for a collector piece or a rider? Good examples of riders can be found for a lot less.
