flasher/hazards problem

hi, can anyone help me with my r1200c when engine is not running indicators work ok as soon as i start up they will only flash a couple of times and then stop working also includes the hazards.the engine is lumpy on idle which is when they stop working when you raise the engine rpm they stay working,have changed the indicator/hazard relay @77 ouch! cheers.

I had a similar problem with faulty flashers when the engine was running. They worked fine until I pulled in the clutch then they would cancel, engine vibration transfer to frame. For me it was a faulty flasher relay. I was able to find a good used one for $25.

Sounds like yours is most likely vibration caused. For your situation I would also check the contacts in the cancel switch, make sure the contacts are clean and maybe stretch the spring to make better contact.
