New(?) Program...volunteers needed
New to the program, folks. So, give me a shove, please. I want to establish a volunteer bikeing program in which owners of trikes, or side cars, will agree (circumstances permitting) take handicapped individuals (like myself) on day rides. I have a pen-pal in CapeCod, MA (a paraplegic) who is confined to a wheel chair and lives in a paralized body. Even so she is one who loves to get away from confinement for a little excitement on occasion.and would love to be invited to a day riding in a sidecar, or on a Tricycle motorcycle. Example: she has done a "tandem" parachute jump from thirteen thousand five-hundred feet with experienced parachutists (like myself-again) and loved it!
I need all the help I can get to establish a venture like this and, having ridden my own BMW all over the USA and Canada, know the thrills of the open road!. I am an old handicapped retiree myself and have ample time to do what is necessary in establishing assistance for others in similar condition.. I am also absolutely certain there are fellow riders who may consider this a good idea and will volunteer their help. I'm also sure you fit into this group.
Please, if you have any suggestions or own a bike like I've mentioned, offer advice, counsel, ideas...anything that might be useful for a project like this...give me a call, write, or enter a reply via the net. Thanks, a bunch!
