oil type/brand ideas

I have a 90/6 that I put new rings/overhauled jugs.....What oil do you guys suggest ? thanx

I highly recommend lubricating oil!

I had not heard about Rotella in ages.

It used to be far and away the best oil to use in the original air cooled Volkswagens. It kept the inside of the engines remarkably clean. With other oils you had heavy sludge build-up in the valve lifter area.

Makes sense to use it in airheads.
