What part of Italy? Great country with good food.

Ride 'em if you got 'em.

Greatings;
Visited Milano in 04 and rode the French and Swiss Alps with side trip to the Dolomites.
Fantastic riding and great people.

Are you familiar with these guys ? http://www.kog.it/
I stayed at the Milan Four Points Sheridan and the consigliere Maurizio Naro (an LT rider) invited me to ride along for one day durring the groups annual rally. Great bunch of people and had a great ride along Lake Como.

They all wanted to visit America, so maybe you can get a group together and come on over.
Maybe a visit to our September 2010 Cruve Cowboy Renuion in Vermont.

Re: new member from Italy

Welcome aboard. My wife and I visit Italy often. We stay in the Lago Maggiore and Como regions and down in Camogli, near Genoa.

The best motorcycle boots are from Italy, Vendramini, from a little town north of Venice, Trevignano:

http://www.vendramini.com/dynamic/en/categoria.php

I've been wearing them for 30 years or more.

We're planning a trip there in the near future and will rent or buy a GS to ride around for a few months.

Ride fast. Take chances.
