I put a California sidecar on an R90/6 some twenty/thirty years ago,
back then there was a magazine called Hacked with a lot of good information,
I don't know if copies are still available as the producer has passed on.
Lotsa people talk about sidecars but few actually ever go through with their projects,
I have no knowledge at all with the leaning application but it certainly is not a new idea
has been around for a while and I remember seeing early 1900's leaning sidecars,
was one FLXIBLE
I remember when I first bolted the sidecar up to my R90/6 carefully measuring the toe-in, canter etc,
I took it for a ride around the block and right back into the garage checked everything again because I felt "there's something seriously wrong here!"
there wasn't, it just that riding a sidecar is completely different from riding a motorcycle.
Once I "got the hang of it" litterally .....I learned how to "fly" the sidecar,
I had a lot of fun with it, that one would always make the girls scream.
I even fabbed a brake for the sidecar wheel,
if you applied only the sidecar brake (on gravel) it would spin the bike around the sidecar in a 180, woohoo!
Eventually I got rid of it, mostly because of space
I had to many motorcycles and a sidecar take up the space of two.
If you've ever had the fantasy of getting oral sex while riding your motorcycle,
it can be done with a hack and an adventurous girlfriend,
but that's for another forum
ahh to be young again.
