Hands went numb

Rode my 04 r1150r yesterday and after 70 miles both hands were numb! I have not noticed this before. Not sure if a tune-up would take some of the vibration out or not. Bike has only 7900 miles. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Chris

Re: Hands went numb

Never heard that it would cause numbness in your hands. I was always told that it would cause blindness... but it actually makes more sense...

Re: Hands went numb

I was traveling mostly on state roads, the rpms around 4 to 5. This was the first time this has happened on my "r" bike. I think maybe I was riding to far forward, to much pressure on the grips.? I also notice a lot of vibration in the mirrors. I am not complaining, I love riding the 1150, just wanted to know if anyone else had the same experience.
