Thumbs up Recommendations for service needed in NC

Hi, New member here and I need to get my R1100R back in shape. Got about 32K mile and the
1. rear drive line/shaft and wheel have a back and forth wobble. Brother just had it done on his GS but different state. Who in or around Charlotte NC is recommended?
2. Can somebody recommend a better rear brake pad that will hold up longer......yes I use my front brakes but the rear just seem to go South faster.
3. My bike starting to smoke a little when cold; is a little cranky when cold also.
feel free to email me....thanks for your help

Re: Recommendations for service needed in NC

Welcome.

If looking for a dealer, a lot of us have had real good luck with BMW-Ducati of Charlotte down on US 74 in Matthews. Otherwise, there was an independant who posted on this board a few weeks ago who was down around Lincolnton or so. Maybe someone will know who I'm talking about.

+1 on what John said for the Charlotte BMW-Ducatti dealer. Great service manager and expert mechanics. Been using them for over two years now and absolutely no complaints.

Thanks guys, that sounds like where I will go then. I will haveto trailer it up eventually and the new job will keep me busy for awhile but I am interested in what the locals are doing here. Keep me posted or what site can I visit?
Thanks again, david
