What Mirrors Fit

Just as many of us added the K12RS mirrors to our LT's, the same problem exists on the R12RT...the mirrors are dangerous.

Anyone know for sure what mirrors can be put in the clutch/brake housing holes?

Thanks

Either you don't have an RT or you don't use your mirrors with that statement. You can't see crap to the rear!

Re: What Mirrors Fit

First let me say that I saw everything I needed to see when I rode my 2000 RT. Same mirrors on the 1100RT as on the 1200RT.

As for your original question, the GS mirrors are reported to fit the mirror holes by the clutch and brake reservoirs.

So, let's see, Mickey Mouse mirrors or the K12RS. Think I'll go with the K12RS mirrors. Thanks Ted, et al.

I guess for those that think the mirrors are ok you just don't mind bobbing your head around to use them...well, to that I say vive la difference. The ones on the LT are bigger and they also left much to be desired.

Lighten up John, your post was not very clear as to which mirrors you were referring to. (RS or OEM) Obviously you meant the OEM mirrors on the LT and RT, in that case I agree with you, they suck..

OEM RT mirror visibility to the rear is severely restricted with a passenger or baggage ... there is that better ... the suggestions for "extra" mirrors is very appropriate IMHO.

They have a set that will fit my R1200R, way sexy, but waaay expensive in US dollars.
