R1100S Problem

I am a new member to this forum in need of some helpful advice, please.
I have an R1100S which has an intermittent problem which others may be familiar with. After giving it a bit of a brisk run, it feels like it is running out of fuel when rolling off the throttle. It also pops a little at the same time. It feels fine when the throttle is opened again. The bike has a Staintune pipe and performance chip but no after market Fuel Injection Control Unit. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what it may be, especially if you have had the same problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Does the after market Exhuast still use the stock O2 sensor?

R11000S Problem

I'm not sure. I bought the bike with 70000 km on it and have done a further 12000. I'll have to ask the bloke I bought it from as I know him. By the way, he says he never had this problem himself and this is probably true as I had had it a while before the problem showed up.

Take a look at the Exhaust pipes around the foot pegs, there should be an O2 sensor like this

The top half will be pointed up out of the pipe with a wire.

If not then the performance chip alone with not compensate for the air mixture. If the O2 sensor is there it may need replacing.

Thanks for your suggestion about the 02 sensor. I have booked the bike in to have the valve clearances done next week so I'll get them to check or replace the sensor. It just may be the answer.
