Question 2004 R1150R (ABS) Pointers

Greetings all,

May be going to look at a VERY clean '04 R1150R on Sunday. Any thing I should be looking for specifically? FWIW, 22k miles, one owner, BMW Windshield, tankbag, system cases, hand guards. Owner is ASKING $8000 OBO. Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Bruce

I just bought a new R12R and was looking at used 1150's during my search. From what I found 8 G's is quite strong, I'd expect to pay low 7ish, but you did say it was offered OBO, so that's where I'd start FWW, good luck

Thanks BigEasy,

Turns out I bought a not-quite-stock '05 w/13K on the odometer, a fresh 12K service, new rubber, and a year left on the factory warranty for $7100 out-the-door. Great bike that R1200R. I love the math: 430 something lbs + 109 HP = YEEHAH! Ride Safe.
