Cracked Gearbox Case

Hi all, looking for some advice. Found a crack in my R1150 gearbox casing next to slave cylinder. It's hairline and is about 4cm long over the top of the case. Can you normally weld these types of cracks? Thanks Martin

Re: Cracked Gearbox Case

You could have it welded but you would have to remove the gearbox and take it apart and thoroughly degrease the area. I would just monitor it for now and watch for any leaks.
