R 1200 ST clutch going bad

Hey all, its the guy who was asking about the speedometer sensor. Turns out the sensor was bad, got that replaced, and now I have another issue... if I give it a bit of gas, the RPM shoots up, and the bike doesn't follow, so I believe the clutch is on its last legs. It can be ridden gently just fine, but with any attempted quick acceleration, it seems to be disengaging. Is there anything else that could be causing this, or am I right about the clutch?

If it is the clutch, does around $1150 sound right for parts and labor at a dealer? I gotta sell this bike and I know it won't be moving with a bad clutch...
