Problems with Iron Pig

As of late Iron Pig has shows an annoying tendency to almost but not quite stall under load.
Bubbling along at 120 kmh and need to overtake so I open the tap and the following happens.
Under or around 120 km/h..
Engine: "Bubble bubble bubble bubble bubble bubble!"
Slight twist on the gas...
Engine: "Bubble bubble bubble,BBBBRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
It feels like petrol starvation, but everything is ok, there is even petrol in the tank, did the fuel filter, did the sparks, no joy. Hit the search engine, still no joy.
So if anybody knows summat that information would be appreciated.

Without men civilization would last untill the oil needs changing.

Re: Problems with Iron Pig

Check your in tank fuel lines for cracks. It's a common issue and easy to miss.

Re: Problems with Iron Pig

Spot on, only it was not a crack in the bendy pipe but the bugger who had clamped the bendy pipe to the hard pipe had missed the hard bit that sticks into the bendy pipe and it seems to have worked it's way loose. I refastened it and took a happy Iron pig onto the Autobahn and opened the taps, at 220 Km/h I was still accelerating but I noticed a distinct oscillation of the sphincter and had to back off the gas.
The pig has never run so well.

Without men civilization would last untill the oil needs changing.

Don't be afraid to say what you feel, as those that matter DOnt mind and those that mind Dont matter.
