Needing Some Help...

OK...It's been a LONG time since I've been on the site, but I'm going through some tools in my garage and found these two specialty tools that came from a BMW shop. I cannot identify them or their purpose, but they look expensive! Any of you BMW guys (or gals) got any idea what these things are???? See pics below! Thanks in advance for any help!

I know Dave, the one looks like an alignment tool of some sort and the other is some sort of tool to set tension or at least it seems to be. Glad to hear from you again. I've been gone!!!
