How do I get it out so I can replace it with a jensen radio?

Both side panels and sting ray off. And a couple of screws around the speakers. Then there are some on the radio once you get there. Had mine out last winter, and that's the best I can remember.

Re: radio removal

Thanks, I already had that bike apart for replacement now I'm doing my 1985 k100RT. Thats the radio I want to take out. It has the four small holes that reminds me of the radio removal in a Saab 9000 I use to own. That had a U shape tool for removal.

Re: radio removal

The early K-bikes also had a U shaped tool for removal,
you can substitute a small screwdriver,
push it down in the holes to release (push back) the clips holding it in place,

When you remove the radio you will need the "radio code" to use it again.
