K75 fairings

Hello,

I am new to this forum and in the market for a K75 (S/RT/C).
Is it possible or even worthwhile to put an S fairing on a straight K75? I called a local dealer and the man was less than helpful. All he would say is that he could not legally tell me one way or another.

I am planning on using it for commuting and very short touring trips and am concerned regarding the wind distribution.

I understand I could just buy a K75S but that is not my question. All else being equal, is it possible?

Thank you kindly.

Michael

Re: K75 fairings

Yes, since the frames and gas tank are the same it is certainly doable.

It's too wise from an economic/effort standpoint though vs. just buying K75S.

Hannigan has been making fairings for BMW for years. You may find a new or a used one to your liking.
I think they look neat, but not everyone does.
