Common cause for abs warning light?

So I'm just curious, the ABS warning light has been on since I bought the bike.
Is there any common fault that causes the ABS to stop working?
Does it simply need a rebuild, or does the warning come on because of some other reason?
Thanks,
Nick.

Re: Common cause for abs warning light?

On your K75? One low tech cause for ABS failing the start up check is low battery voltage. The units are real sensitive to a slight drop in voltage from the expected, for a lot more go to:

To find the fault codes, reset procedures, etc., check out the articles under the ABS heading on the IBMWR tech pages.

My problem is the ABS warning light next to the low fuel indicator is blinking.
Not both, but just that one. What does that indicate?
