Alright... Whos bike!

As we (Most should ) I'm in search of a new gal! Found an '06 over in Sunnyvale at a Honda Dealer...

While rode hard (51k) it would appear that her prior owner took just as good of care of her as I did Barbara...

It has the ugly "A&S" plate tag, Corbin seat, Piaa's, Foot peg lowering kit, OEM battery and for some reason or another a CB antenna... In addition there is a small black sticker with (I can't remember) in white letter's on the top case latch...

The stealer did not know much about the bike, let alone the LT. First he was set on getting the price listed, then he quickly changed his mind.

If anyone knows who or what, it would help with my quest to find a deal...

Get the VIN & call A & S. They should be able to tell you who owned the bike before.

Just got the VIN, Literally just now. (WB10559A66ZL72485) Called up the dealer in SJ, they rattled off some information that I assume is/was in the "system. Who ever you are it was purchased from A&S on 12/05, the PO lived in Yuba City, Ca and there were two warranty (minor) issues with the Comsystem and a seal (most likely on the GB). Called A&S (and in typical fashion) they will call me back...

They had it listed for $10,2. then the day I went to see it (yesterday) they lowered it to $9,9.

In my typical fashion, I walked away, but the bones heads finally responded to my email (The bike is 2+ hours away) that I sent Monday night... I countered with a "make me a deal" and we'll see response. They came back at $9,2 OTD. I offered 8K... they came back with $8,6

My problem is I looked at an '05 locally, with 27K fully OEM'd out with GPS, Corbin, saddlebag inserts, Pegs, boards, Pia, Moto for $9,7....AND he is the original owner.. I'll start with $9 when the guy gets back this weekend... His bike on the other hand, almost blew me while we were making ooglie eyes at each other...

While that's a dam good price for an '06, she looks to be ridden hard, they said they got the bike from an auction, dead battery, little high on the miles and she (the bike) did not solicit me like Barbara did...

Edit: Dam it sucks when people know you, that don't really know you... Huh, Doug!

Also, it is hard to tell from the pix, but the screen looks higher that stock, and are those JPegs to stretch you legs that I see under the front tip over wings?

Re: Alright... Whos bike!

Sounds like you really want her... 61K is just broken in. All MC have little issues. I really think she will give you miles of great service. Price is good to, I think.

Re: Alright... Whos bike!

I may be getting out on the edge here but you live in California so you can handle it...
I say go for the Love ... I watched My LT sit at a consignment shop for 7 months on Craigs List just watching and pondering thinking I need that bike but the original price was out of my budget, when the price dropped in the right range there were at least two Other LT's that popped up within my price range with lower miles.... I still went for the one that held my attention for 7 months teasing me on Craigs list. I figure this way if you go for the bike that pulls at your soul you wont be too upset when the inevitable repair rears it's ugly head, but if you buy the one that doesn't sing out to you you will cuss under your breath for every flaw and repair that you should have bought the other one. When my Lt had an oil leak this season and then I found out one of the mounting bolts is not in place right, not once have I thought I should have gone with one of the other bikes, just it's MY bike and I'll get it right.

Good luck!

Is the local one a gold? If not, I know where there is/was one (gold) in Sacramento.
