Kneeland Road - Condition?

Can anyone tell me what condition/type of road Kneeland Rd. is north of Highway 36 through Jaeger Junction up to Lone Star Junction? My mapsource map shows it as a broken line.

I was hoping to take it off of highway 36 and head north though Riverside to 299.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

From what I can see of google earth is looks to be smooth dirt farm/country roads. Doesn't look paved.

Here's a RR and pics. Looks like it starts paved and then becomes gravel. Great GS road for sure.

Thank You

Thanks so much for the replies. I should have known to go over to pashnit!

As I will be on my RT and thinking of skipping it this trip (not that I haven't had my share of gravel roads on my ride to and through Alaska on the RT).

Thanks again.
