Disturbance in the force...

It turns out two HDDC members were both trying to buy the same bike...

And I lost!

OK, will the lucky winner 'fess up?

I don't think it's me - I'm only a part-time HDDCer and Ted is still working his magic on taking my K1200S in on trade. That is, unless Hal was looking at an RT?

OK, it was me.
Decided I needed a smaller Baja/Death Valley/trail bike so I quit breaking things (bike and body wise).
08 Suzuki DR650 with only 438 miles was to good to pass up, found it only 7 miles from the house and besides I like blue.

That's a good bike Doug, I'm thinking of getting one too.

I found a used 09 for $4100. Should I buy it???

Seems fair for an 09 depending on "how used" and any mod's?
Mine's bone stock, came with helmet/goggles, $3500.
Been looking at farkles to convert to mini dualsport tourer and looks like about $1000 will get IMS larger gas tank, engine bash plate, fork brace. windscreen, centerstand and such. Wolfman tank bag and tank panniers and a rear rack unit with Cortec top pack and soft side bags another $750. Happytrails also makes aluminum panniers for the DR.

You're not confused, just addicted.

Healing is going good.
Took a couple loops around the ranch on the DR yesterday.
I agree, no aluminum panniers for the DR, was thinking something like these http://www.turbocity.com/product_inf...roducts_id=768
