BBQ Joint in Vacaville

I read this review in the Sac Bee and it sounds terrific so I thought I would post it for a future suggestion that we can all RTE:

Great photos Shredder! I could spend a week just with those whales. I see you captured Jessica's third boat.

Re: BBQ Joint in Vacaville

Back to the original topic:
There is eatable BBQ outside of Texas?

I must have missed it. I have traveled 48 states, and among others lived in California. Never had anything that came remotely close to what we get here.

But I am partial to Texas in general, not just the BBQ.

While we talking about good eating in Texas... the stuff that is trying to pass as Tex-Mex in California and most other places... not even close!

Let's not even get started on Pies... we even have our own Pie Princess in our group, never mind that she is a Harley Passenger, but it shows how serious we Texans (including naturalized Texans like me) are about our Pies. And the quality and selection is accordingly.

If you plan your next RTE, make it to Texas for the best food and our legendary hospitality. It's a bit of a ride, but once you hit the Texas State Line you are about halfway to Austin, or the Hill Country, the best part of Texas.
