Selling the GS Adventure

I've decided to sell the 2004 GS Adventure I bought from Raffy a few months ago. I know this bike has quite a bit of history in the NorCal group being that it spent a significant part of it's life with Dell and Raffy, so I wanted to offer it up here first to see if anyone is interested in keeping it "in the family". Here's a rundown on it -
  • 2004 R1150 GS Adventure, Silver
  • 45,500 miles
  • No significant dents or scratches, It's in great shape with just the normal wear you would expect
  • Jesse Odyssey saddlebags and top case
  • Jesse locking toolbox under the top case
  • Storage tube mounted under the rear fender
  • Ohlins shocks - both recently rebuilt and the rear resprung with about 1200 miles on them
  • BMW crash bars and cylinder head protectors
  • Rick Mayer Saddle
  • VStream windshield
  • Motolight caliper mount lights with high output LED bulbs (white), wired with Autoswitch for turning on & off
  • Hella 4400 halogen lights with 2 sets of covers
  • Autocom M1 intercom
  • Throttle Meister bar end throttle lock
  • Touratech handguard extensions
  • Touratech metal mesh headlight protector
  • Touratech Hard Part Steering Stop protector
  • Touratech locking GPS mount for Garmin 26xx, 27xx, 28xx series units
  • Signal Dynamics flashing LED brake light
  • Larger aftermarket rider footpegs (not sure of brand)
  • Brake pedal extender
  • Side stand extender
  • Skid plates underneath the motor and tranny, and a bash plate in front of the motor
  • Fairly fresh Michelin Anakees (2700 on front, 1200 on rear)
  • Full 48K service done about 1200 miles ago
  • Brake and clutch fluids flushed and refreshed during service
  • New throttle cables
  • New choke cable
  • Vanity license plate "BMW GSA" goes with the bike
The bike runs great, shifts smoothly, handles like it's on rails and is a ball to ride. The pictures below are from Dell's website circa 2006. It still has most everything you see there (no GPS included and Rick Mayer seat built on the stock one shown) and includes everything else listed above. If you're interested send me a PM here on the list or email me at [email protected].

Re: Selling the GS Adventure

I would buy it if I could. I hope someone in the posse buy's it so that can buy it from them someday. Just take care of it for me.
