Bones Barbque in Gualala Burns To Ground

Early in the morning on September 4, on the eve of the one year anniversary of their move to larger quarters at the south end of Gualala, bones BarBQue Restaurant burned to the ground.

The popular motorcycle rider destination had moved from smaller facility about a half mile to the north in Gualala and had a celebration which was to include live music scheduled for later Saturday.

I took these pictures and they were on my camera until today, so sorry for the late report.

The fire started somewhere in the dining are and burned towards the kitchen, instead of the other way around as one might expect. Scuttlebutt around town was that the restaurant was doing well.

Bummer! I was planning to eat there next week before the RCB Manchester Beach campout.

Dang I like that place too. I have one of their pins on the tank panniers of my GS. Hope they rebuild it....
