Here is some info pulled off the LMC website.
"After a 31 year hiatus, the Lodi Motorcycle Club is proud to announce that on September 12 and 13, 2009, we will be hosting the Stockton Mile at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, just 5 miles down Highway 99 in Stockton. Last run in 1978, the Stockton Mile is a 98 foot wide full mile-long track. The Fairgrounds folks have been a pleasure to deal with and are enthused about dirttrack motorcycles cutting laps again.
The 2009 Stockton Mile will be run as a 2-day event.
Saturday, September 12, will feature 4 classes- Open Vint, Expert 450, Expert Singles and Expert Unlimited. The 3 Expert classes will be money classes with a total purse as of June 1st of $7,000.
On Sunday, September 13, 9 Sportsman classes will run including Dino Brakeless, Classic Brakeless, Open Brakeless, Modern 250, Modern 450 Am, Vet +35, Vet +50 and Run What You Brung.
Practice on both days will run from 9AM to 1PM, racing will start at 2PM both days.
We'll have a vintage bike show on both days, beer and food concessions, free parking and camping on Friday and Saturday nights- it'll be a full weekend of dirttrack Mile racing to enjoy."
