Long time lurker here.....RAIN would be very inappropriate...Our Bing cherries are still 5 days from harvest and the Raineers a few more: RAIN would really be bad ....besides it would put a damper on your BBQ! Let's all pray that we don't get wet.....

It's the cherries fault, it always tries to rain when they're almost ripe. Hits us grape guys too.
Hey John,1 1/2 years between posts? Hopefully you are getting in a few riding miles.
Wishing for a dry Cherry season.
Maybe you can bring some samples to an HDDC sometime?

Possibly Cherries for the 6/10 HDDC meeting if it is nearby; it would give me an excuse to attend...pucker power is still too strong for your 6/3 meeting....I really hope they are at the shed by 6/9.....I've grown my share of grapes also and they are bullet proof compared to cherries....good thing I have the appraising to support my farming habit!

Mega Dittos on S Dawg's post. Not to be negative about the many resturants that we have visited, but the relaxed nature of a private party in a nice setting is very appealing too.

Hal and I were very glad we were in the pick-um-up on the way home. It rained like a cow on a flat rock on H-50 as we left.

No reports from BIg Doug, but he had to get wet,,,,,,, hopefully he did not melt like the wicked witch,

By the time I finished all the deserts the rain had quit. Roadway was damp for a few miles but made it home dry.

Thanks Kapod2t for hosting.
Thanks Dan-A (aka Birthday Boy) for acting surprized.

I got a little wet on the way home, the road was very wet in a few spots but it looked like the cell had moved through by the time I got there.
