Yup. That's exactly why I can get away with changing bikes. The fact that I don't change women.

Those Termi's sure sound good, don't they. Do you have the Db Killers in or out? I just put them in on my S4. Still has a great sound but doesn't break windows. They are very fun bikes.

The db killers are in and they sound good. Not obnoxiously loud.

Just need to get used to the CRG short levers.

Re: Did you hear that rumble and the earth shaking today?

Parking downtown is the pits. I tried to commute with the LT but was having difficulty finding free parking. Spots are narrow and taken up by the time I got to work.

So went for slimmer bikes.

Re: Did you hear that rumble and the earth shaking today?

Thanks guys. It's an 03 with 8600 miles with a few extras that came on/with the bike:

1) Ducati Performance Termignoni exhaust system with ECU upgrade.
2) Saddlebags
3) Ducati Performance comfort seat
4) Rear hugger in carbon fiber
5) Swap out of body panels from a red bike with ones from a silver. (silver bikes had a black frame - hence the red frame with silver look)
6) CRG short levers - brake and clutch
7) New battery
8) New battery tender lead
9) Registration paid up to April 09

Re: Did you hear that rumble and the earth shaking today?

Congrats on the new ride.

I am also a very lucky man who has a great wife that supports my bike habit.

When we bought the LT, she asked if I was going to sell the Speed Triple.

"No" I answered.

"Why do you need two motorcycles?" she asked.

"Why do you need 100 pair of shoes?" I countered.

Subject never came up again, and she loves to ride on the back of both of them. Of course I never say a thing when she walks into a shoe store.

Re: Did you hear that rumble and the earth shaking today?

Nice ride, Raffy. You've joined us in the 'Strada group again, I see. I wish I had known you were in the market for one, we might have been able to swing a deal for my '04 - although I would hate to part with it.

Be careful with that comfort seat in the summertime. If you let that gel sit in the sun for too long, it heats up like its been in a microwave oven and takes forever to cool off. I have the standard seat around here somewhere, if you decide to change it out. I have a Corbin on mine.

The Termis sound great, don't they? Only thing that sounds better is my 900.

It's been a while since you and I went for a ride when we both had the same bikes. Lets do it soon.

Re: Did you hear that rumble and the earth shaking today?

Hi Daniel:

Let's get a ride going. there are 5-6 MTS owners here in Sacramento area. One of the guys just bought an MTS1100S and another picked up an 05 1000DS.

You probably know these sites:

www.ducati.ms

www.multistrada.net

http://www.ducati-owners-group.com that's the local one.
Looks like a ride is planned for tomorrow around Berryessa.
