Thumbs up Restaurant Review

EXR met up for lunch late Saturday morning at the new Squeeze Inn location in Galt. Although located in the middle of a new industrial park off the beaten path, it's very easy to find off the Pringle exit on south Hwy 99. The decor and service are excellent with plenty of level parking available. The food is just as tasty as the original location in South Sac with much more seating at the bar or at the dozen tables available plus a spacious patio out front. They were more than pleased to accomodate allowing us to monopolize half the tables for an hour or so. Definitely one to put on the list with those fabulous cheddar cheese smothered burgers and hot, crispy french fries! It was a great way to start an afternoon ride up to Volcano. Sure, we stopped at Humble Pies too but that's another review!

I haven't been to Volcano in a few months. Glad to hear they're still open for business.

Just saw the Sac location on the Food Network show "Drive-inns, Diners and Dives". Looked interesting and the host liked it (I think he likes everything).

Re: Restaurant Review

I wonder how many drive-ins, diners and dives never make it on the air, because he can't bring himself into panning the places? I think I'm going to make it my life's work to visit each of his finds, because every time I see his show, I do a major raid on my refrigerator!!!! He eats the food and I gain the weight--What's that all about?

The Sac location has the original, ah, "charm." They've made a nice effort to export some of that to the new Galt location but you'll have to put with spacious cleanliness along with not having to lock up everything when you go in.
